Entourage 2004 Email Notification- Font problem

S

scooper

I am having trouble reading the notification display as new messages
are received. I sent an iCard to a friend [also sending myself a copy
of the iCard to my Entourage account here @ work] and now the "FUN"
font that was offered is now the font used to display incoming
messages. Since that alert window is tiny - I cannot tell the sender
or subject anymore. I really rely on this option now and don't want to
have to turn it off. Is there a way to change the font on message
alerts? NOTE: All my other fonts within the program display as they
should.

Help with this would be greatly appreciated,
Stefanie

I've never heard of this before. I'll ask to see what might be happening.

Any ideas what this can be? Is there anything I can do short of
turning the notification off?

I still have not heard back on this. I'll ask again.

Can you test using these steps?

1. Create a new Identity in Entourage (under Entourage in the menu bar
select switch Identity and click on "new")

2. Send yourself a test iCard

Does the problem exist in the new Identity? If no, then your database is
corrupted. You could try rebuilding. You might have to export all of your
data into a new Identity if rebuilding does not work.

3. Still having problems...create a new User in System Preferences.

4. Open Entourage and test sending an iCard.

If the problem went away then the problem is in your User's folder. Probably
a corrupt preference.

Let me know what you find.
