Hi, hope someone out there can help, because I'm really getting
frustrated...I have the latest update of Entourage 2004. Everytime I
put my computer to sleep or minimize Entourage, it will stop receiving
mail. I'll hear a thud every 3 minutes as it tries in vain, but to no
avail. When I maximize the window again and prompt it to receive mail,
it generates an error: -39 message "End of file was reached". It no
longer recognizes the email account. The only thing that works is to
delete the account then add it again as a new account, which is getting
annoying, especially if I want to check my email more than once per day
or if I'm in a hurry. Has anyone else had this problem? It didn't
happen before. In fact, the problem may coincide with the 4.9 update,
but that may not be accurate. Thanks for any assistance anyone can
provide!
