Hello all,
I have one user using Entourage- he has gone through his 1300 contacts
and assigned them "categories", which for some reason Entourage will
not export with the contact database.. as a result we've struggled very
hard to make Entourage functional for his needs. I have hit a wall:
Entourage constantly shows "updating calendar..." in the lower-right
corner. What it's really doing is taking old calendar entries and
duplicating them into infinity, absolutely flooding his e-mail account
with duplicates of calendar entries from as far back as 1999. This
recently pushed him from well under his e-mail quota to well over,
stopping him from sending any mail. His calendar currently contains
*over 100,000 items* for less than 7 years of use. That's almost 50
items per day... he isn't that busy!
We are done with Entourage, but if anyone has any suggestions for
cleaning this mess up (exporting the categories somehow and/or deleting
extra calendar entries), I'd welcome them.
