entourage 2004 + Exchange 2003

Hi,

following problem :
'Exchange' account was added to Entourage en whenever Entourage is launched
it appears as Enoturage is continuously updating/synchronizing its folders...
and that has a very negative impact on the general performance of hte Imac
(Imac G5 / 1,5 GB RAM)..
There is no problem with the actual receving of the e-mails
Any adivce/tips is greatly appreciated

Hi xavier!

Try putting your Exchange connection into "Headers only" mode. This
downloads only the message information (subject, sender, date, etc.) but
doesn't download the actual message until you decide to read it.

In Entourage, go to Tools --> Accounts and open your Exchange account.
Under the Options section select "Partially receive messages over" and
set the adjacent field to 9999. Save your changes and you should notice
"Headers only" next to your Exchange account name in your folder list.
