I've just upgraded to Office 2004 and am trying to migrate from Apple mail
to Entourage 2004. Using it exclusively at work through Exchange. It sends
mail just fine but during the synch process it seems to get stuck at some
point and comes up with a message that says:
"Mail could not be received at this time. The server for account "work"
returned the error "logon failure: unknown user name or bad password."
Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you
like to try re-entering your password?"
I am positive I'm entering my password correctly. It starts synching by
updating calendar then contacts and usually gets "stuck" before getting to
my in-box. Sometimes it brings up the dialog box right away, sometimes it
takes 5 minutes or so.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
