entourage 2004 functions stopping to function

from time to time, some functions stop functioning. for example,
hitting the delete key to delete a message just stopped working.
relaunching the application seemed to fix the problem until the next
time. it also happens with other functions...

is it a bug?

i also noticed 2 entourage database daemon startup items in my User
account startup items.
?

I think so. At any rate I have seen the loss of keyboard shortcuts as well.

Delete them both. The correct one will be added to the list automatically
as long as you have Office Notifications turned on within Entourage.
