Entourage 2004 HTML printing problems

Hi there,

I have seen one or two people mentioning the same problem when
printing HTML messages in Entourage 2004 - the header information (to,
from, date, subject etc) does not show up at all (I think when sent
from PCs using Outlook). I use Entourage at work, so this is a problem
for record-keeping. "Editing" each message to turn off HTMl is not
feasible due to volume. Is there any fix or script for this annoying
issue?

The headers show up when printing plain text or basic HTML text mail. When
printing complex HTML mail the headers do not show up; instead it is printed
as a web page with "mhtmlmain:" as the URL. A similar printing issue
affects Outlook for Windows; the headers show up in HTML but in a different
format and print preview fails for anything but basic plain text.

Thanks for your response. You've described the symptoms exactly -
apart from converting every email to be printed to plain text, is
there any solution?

None that I know of -- Entourage tends to come up short on quite a few
issues related to HTML mail. HTML has never been that popular on the Mac
platform and I don't think it is a high priority.
