Entourage 2004 Junk Filter Grabbing Messages from Contacts in the Addressbook!

Entourage 2004 is designating all mail from all of my family members
and most of my friends (who are all in my addressbook!) as junk mail
and putting those messages in the junk mail folder. I'm running version
11.1.0/Office V. 11.1.1 under Tiger 10.4.2, though it was doing this
under Panther for me as well. I have turned junk mail filtering off,
and it still processes the messages as junk mail, I have created a rule
to check for a set of addresses and move any messages from those
addresses to the inbox (that rule works fine when manually applied but
not on incoming mail), and I have ensured that those addresses are in
my contacts. I have deleted that rule and rebuilt it from scratch. I
have rebuilt the database, and repaired my permissions. I have added
the domain for my family's addresses (earthlink.net) to the list of
"safe domains." My other rules, which are applied to a couple of
mailing lists, work perfectly. Some legitimate junk mail is getting
appropriately captured (again, with junk mail filtering off!), but some
also gets through. I haven't found any hints of any problem like this
anywhere else - everything/everybody simply says that Entourage will
never tag mail from any address in your addressbook as junk. It is like
Entourage psychically identifies all the mail I actually care about,
and junks it.
Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
