Entourage 2004 Junk Mail Protection not functioning as expected

I have the "Junk E-Mail Protection" level set at "Exclusive", but none
of the e-mail that is received that is not from addresses in my
Address Book or Safe Domains list remains in my inbox and is not
rerouted to the Junk E-Mail folder. At one point when I had Office X
installed the messages were being classified as Junk, but that stopped
working. I have recently upgraded to 2004 and no filtering is being
done.

Sorry,but the first sentence should have read:

"I have the "Junk E-Mail Protection" level set at "Exclusive", but ALL
of the e-mail that is received which is not from addresses in my
Address Book or Safe Domains list remains in my inbox and is not
rerouted to the Junk E-Mail folder."

After futher investigation, it turns out that I did have a rule in my
mailing list manager which was directing messages to my e-mail address
to the inbox. Don't remember putting this rule in but there is no
doubt that I am the culprit, Embarassing, yes! The devil is in the
details.

P.S. I did get a reply from a MSFT software tester inquiring about
the problem and offering assistance, which caused be to look a little
deeper, which I should have done before posting this issue, before I
supplied her with more details. I appreciate the offer of assistance
to help with what was a self-inflicted wound.
