Entourage 2004 Losing Connectivity with Exchange Server

Hello,

We just moved all of our organization's Mac users from Outlook 2001 to
Entourage 2004. We have an Exchange server running on a Win2k box with
all the appropriate updates and patches. Everything setup okay
initially, but with each of my Mac users they were prompted to
re-enter their login and password about every fifteen minutes. After
about four or five prompts, they would be unable to login at all.
Messages in their public folders would show up, but for most users
their entire message list never completed.

So, they're all back on Outlook 2001 for now, which works fine, but we
are keen to get them in al all OS X environment rather than having to
use Classic mode for Outlook 2001.

Thank you in advance for any advice anyone can offer.

Do users connect directly on the server or do they go through a redirector
??? I had the same problem with one of our redirectors. Connecting directly
fixed the issue. It appeared that it was indeed due to a missing update on
the server (which shouldn¹t be the case for you here though :-\ ).

Thanks fror responding!

We are connecting directly to the Exchange server. I don't know
anything about a redirector. If your issue was a missing update, I'll
go back and make sure we are, in fact, up to date.

Also, I just found in this discussion group a similar connectivity
problem that was caused by the mail-box-alias-names in Exchange, so
I'll try their fix, too.

Thanks, everyone!
