Entourage 2004 - OS 10.3.9 - Bcc recipient limit

Trying to determine if there is a Bcc recipient limit in 2004. I know
there was not in X, but in trying to send a mass email (850 plus emails
in the Bcc), it ran overnight and did not finish. I checked that it
was not an unresolved address, nor is it a limit by the ISP ( as we
have sent this quanitity before with Entourage X).

Any suggestions?

Entourage has no practical limit to the number of addresses to which you can
address a message.

When you say it "did not finish," what happened? Did you get an error
message?

While your ISP may not explicitly limit recipients, their mail server might
start to get flaky with too many. Splitting your message into smaller
batches might be wise. The "Split Recipients" AppleScript at
<http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> can help you with this.

Problem Solved. It turns out there was one email (out of 850) that had
two "@" signs which does not show up as the typical unresolved address,
it appears normal when scrolling through. I guess this address just
hung up the process.

Removing the second @ fixed it.
