I'm playing with this to try and find a solution for our present
cumbersome Public Folder email filing system. So far:
1. Tagging an email as belonging to a shared project doesn't actually
move it anywhere. If you delete the email from your Exchange account,
it vanishes from the project as well. This prompts a question as to why
a shared Project folder has an Archive file in it if it doesn't get
used?
2. If you set the Entourage email Watch Folder to a Public Folder,
tagging an email as a Project one still doesn't move it to make it
available.
3. Dragging an email to said Public Watch folder tags it as belonging
to the Project and allows team members to download a copy of it. But
this is exactly the way that Public folders already work, so it doesn't
make things any easier.
Is there a way to get Entourage to copy an email I tag in my Inbox to
an accessible location that other members of the project can get access
to? You can't even get Rules to be applied on a Schedule.
