Entourage 2004 Stalls

Hi,

I have found that my Entourage 2004 Stalls when I receive emails that
have moving marquees in them.

I have to force quit to fix the issue.

These generally come from outlook PC clients and I believe the marquee
is a MS technology.

Anyone else experienced thios problem.

I can email someone an example to test if you would like to help me
out.

If you are just wanting to delete the mail, and can't without crashing, you
can turn off the preview pane in the View menu (preview pane - none). Then
you can delete it that way. Corrupt e-mails can cause Entourage to do that.

Other than that, there is really nothing you can do when a corrupt e-mail
comes through, if that's what it is.

It's not a corrupt email...

It's an email that Entourage X quite happily rendered in the preview
pane.

In fact it's from a person who has been emailing with that signature
for over a year now.

I've tested with all sorts of variants and is's just the moving
marquee that presents the problem.

My real issue is that I can't open old emails that have this signature
in them.

Is there any way to disable the rendering of Marquees in the preview
pane.

Any other ideas out there?

Also you are correct i that with the preview pane off, the email can
be selected and deleted... but that dosn't really help me.
