Does anyone know how to keep a synchronization box from
appearing using Entourage 2004 which is communication with
an exchange server? If anyone has had this problem please
let me know.

If you're talking about the Progress Window, just close it while it's open,
as has been said here a few times.

I have the same problem. I have 20 users that are
wondering how to turn this thing off. Does anyone know
how? I have tried several different settings and I can
not get it to turn off.

Please help!

It has also been said here a few times that just closing the box
doesn't work! It reappears. I NEVER want to see that box again no
matter what Entourage is doing! Anyone else have any suggestions?!

I also had the conduit settings not appearing when I double-clicked.

In the end, I did two things to resolve it:

* Two versions of the Entourage Database Daemon were listed in my
Login (or accounts in system preferences) Items (the v.X and 2004). I
deleted them both from Login Items and re-added just the version from
the Office 2004 install (found in the Office sub-folder). (Sloppy
install from the CD, Microsoft).

* I deleted the old Office v.X installation (the uninstall option in
the Office 2004 folder, in additional tools).

Hope this helps,
Surelys
