Entourage 2004 vs. Outlook 2003 vs. OWA

Maybe this is documented somewhere but I noticed something really weird. I
use Entourage 2004 at home to manage may email and calendars. I had recently
entered a bunch of all day events. They look "normal" in Entourage but at
work I use Outlook 2003. All my all day events span 2 days from 7PM one day
to 7PM the next. I double checked my Entourage and it looks fine. I have
confirmed that OWA is also spanning multiple days which points back to
Entourage doing something strange.

How do you over come this? I have check that my timezones are set
appropriately in both clients. All is set to CDT. Not sure if there is
another setting or this is just one of those features.

Anyone else seen this or is this a "known" issue?

Thanks in advance.

Is your time zone set correctly in the Date and Time SYSTEM Preferences as
well as in the Entourage preferences? Is it also set correctly on your work
system, not just in Outlook 2003?

Also, is your OWA time zone set correctly? Log in to OWA and check
Options on the left.

The hotfix and patch mentioned in this blog post are likely causes of
this problem too.

Hope this helps!

This makes some sense. I have check my timezones(one my time to be sure) and
all are correct. I can't remember if I had added these via Outlook or
Entourage. I will do some testing to see what I can find out.

Thanks.

Since originally posting this back in April, I have since discovered that
Entourage 2004 is causing the problem once I save the EVENT(all day).
Apparently the default time zone isn't working. I have it set for CDT but
when I go into the event and edit it. I can go to OPTIONS->TIME ZONE and
much to my amazement, I notice that the TZ of Casablanca, Monrovia is set. I
wonder HOW this can be. I have double checked Entourage 2004 and it is
definitely set correctly. I checked OWA and my Outlook 2003. They too are
set correctly. I can't figure out what could possibly be overriding this
TZ...and why this one?

Any ideas. For now, I can work around and make sure that I force the correct
TZ but this is a pain.

Thanks for any ideas that you guys might share.
