entourage 2004 will not connect

i have been using entourage v.x with no problems. i upgrade yesterday
to entourage 2004 and it will not connect to our exchange server. we
do not have webdav or OWA. what can i do now? i would have thought
MS would have made it backward compatible.

You NEED WedDAV (meaning OWA enabled) to use your account as an exchange
account. If you don't have it and if the net admin refuses to turn it on,
then you'll have to use the account as an IMAP account (and lose address book
and calendar sync to Exchange).

If they never had OWA or WebDAV to begin with, then David never did have
access to AB or cal data. He won't be losing anything.

Then it looks to me like it simply isn't enabled. You should contact
your net admin to enquire that... :-\
