Entourage 2004 with Exchange GAL or Directory Services

Okay, here it is. Entourage v.X works great with Directory Services,
but the same configuration and the same search in Entourage 2004
results in "No Matching Entries Found." I wonder if it has something
to do with either the name of the server or the search base. I am
currently using an IP address to get to the server, and the search
base is very short. I would greatly appreciate any advice or help
anyone could give me on this. I would turn internal, but the knowledge
of Exchange has greatly declined since the departure of our Exchange
Guru. OH, Apple's Mail basically does the same thing.

Ken,

Just had the same problem reported from some of my MAC
users. Go into the Account properties and go to the
Directory tab. From there click on the Advanced options
and put a check in the first option, "This Server
requires me to log on." That is all I changed and was
able to resolve names via our GAL on an Exchange 2000
server.
