Entourage 2004 with Exchange Server

We have upgraded to Office 2004. All fine except for Entourage talking to
Exchange. The account seems to be fine when it's set up and it downloads
existing mail from the Exchange server. But once it's done that, it won't
receive mail any more, although it can send it out.

If I revert to Entourage X all is well and mail can be sent and received as
normal. As far as I can tell, the settings are all the same in X and 2004.

Can anyone help so we can receive mail as well as send it using Entourage
2004?

That's really weird... I would try a database rebuild (hold the alt key
as you launch Entourage).

If I revert to Entourage X all is well and mail can be sent and received as

You can always setup the account as an IMAP account (but then you won;t
be able to sync address book and calendar to the server).
