Entourage 2004

I have the same problem as pete mac! I can't RECEIVE my mails with
Entourage 2004, although I CAN receive them with Entourage X.

I don't know what I am doing wrong...

I wish to use Entourage 2004 on an PowerBook using OS 10.3.4

I have already tried the following:

- checked all account settings. they are correct.
- checked all network system prefs settings and proxies. they are correct.
- created new identity in E.2004 with new account. still won't work.
- numerous restarts during these processes
- tried to have Firewall ON or OFF and check -nothing!

I have tried Entourage X and Outlook Express (through classic OS 9) and
they all work absolutely fine - with exactly the same settings!

My internet provider is forthnet. The funny thing is that when I try to set up
a new, test account with another provider (panafonet)
Entourage 2004 works fine!!!

This is starting to drive me nuts - does anyone have any ideas?
PLEASE HELP!!!!

Check your schedule. When I installed 2004 my "send and receive all"
schedule did NOT have any entries for receiving, just sending. I just added
a receive action under the rule, and all was good.

Except for the closed-window crash...

If you're using an Exchange server it might be that the settings changed. You
need to get your e-mails from a server with OWA (webmail) enabled. That might
be a different server than the previous one.
