Entourage 2008 can archive?

Hi all,

Just upgraded to Entourage 2008.

Does it have the Archive function, just like in Outlook?

Please advise, thanks!

Entourage's Archive function does exist, but it cannot be compared to
Outlook's feature. Entourage's Archiving is not automatic, nor can you
access the archives easily for viewing purposes. If you click on
File>Export, you can export all your items as an Entourage archive (.rge
file), but you will have to do so manually each time you want to perform a
backup, and you will need to re-import the archive via File>Import if you
want to view any of the items it contains.

I tried to archive emails saved under the inbox "Folders on my computer" instead of "Mailbox". My mail is on our server and I had many emails that I moved from my "Mailbox" to the folders on my computer. I chose just one folder to archive to see if it worked and it archived everything. Uh Oh now how do I restore that and do one at a time?

Are you asking how to put them back on the server?

Do you want them out of Entourage as an archive?
