Entourage 2008 Junk Mail

Since upgrading from Entourage 2004 to Entourage 2008, I am receiving 60 - 80 junk mail messages a day. Before, I would get 3 or 4.
The messages are mostly redirect or return messages or out of office messages with my email address on them - emails that I did not generate. I have not received these type of messages before.

I imported my settings from Entourage 2004 during the upgrade to 2008. What went wrong during the upgrade and how do I stop these messages?

It isn't anything to do with your upgrade. Entourage only comes into play
after your ISP has already received the junk mail.

Most likely, your address has been spoofed as the return address by a
spammer - this happens from time to time and there is absolutely nothing you
can do about it, except to wait a few weeks when it will probably stop as
they move on to a new sender address.

Thanks Barry for the quick reply - have to keep my fingers crossed that the pain will end soon
