Quit Entourage and restart your computer. Run Repair Permissions.
1. Open Disk Utility in your Applications/Utility folder.
2. Click on the First Aid tab and select Repair Permissions
3. Click on the icon for your boot volume.
4. Click the repair permissions button.
Don't run from CD. Updates contain a newer versions of the application's
permissions.
If you still experience problems this could be an indication of a corrupt
database.
You can test your Identity in a new User. This would eliminate any problems
in your User's folder. Drag the Microsoft User Data folder to Shared. Switch
Identity to a new User (create in System Preferences) Drag from Shared to
Documents. (This copies so set to leave on server!) Open and test. If it
works there, then it's a problem in your User's folder.
Remember to drag back from Shared when you are finished.
