Email Client: Exchange

I recently updated my OS to 10.5.6 and noticed i was not getting replies to email messages yesterday. When i got home and logged in through the web browser I saw all of the messages from the day. So exchange is getting them but they are not getting to my computer. i have not changed any settings the only thing i can think of is the Mac Os update. Any ideas? I checked and it is internal mail and outside web mail as well, neither are getting through.

Make sure that Entourage is not set to Work Offline under the Entourage
menu.

Also, if you see this in just one or a handful of folders then
right-click or Control-click that folder, select Folder Properties and
click the Empty button to empty the cache. You can also select the
account itself and empty the cache for all of your folders.

I am having a similar problem. I use Entourage at home to sync with an Exchange server at work. Many of my changes to files at work (moving between email folders, etc.) are not reflected in my Entourage view at home. But I can see them in Outlook Web Access from home. Checking the number of files in each folder also gives different results between Entourage and Apple Mail.

It seems that syncs are not working properly - and I have only noticed this recently. (I tried re-building my Entourage mail box - no effect).

respond within that thread. Otherwise, if you're looking for a solution
to your own problem -- no matter how similar to someone else's -- then
begin your own thread. Similar problems may not have the same solutions.

I provided instructions for clearing caches in Entourage. Did you try that?

If this doesn't answer your question then begin a new thread with
details of your own problem, include your software versions and what
you've tried already to fix the problem.

I have had the very same problem, and it also seemed to begin when I updated to OS 10.5.6. Online email (Outlook web access) works, Calendar / Tasks / Address Book work, but not email with the curious exception of our Ninja Spam folder which still catches some junk mail, the only mail to get through. I checked settings vs. another Mac which is working, reinstalled the entire Office 2008+updates to no avail. I just tried emptying the Account cache as recommended, with partial success - I now have outside email getting through, but email from other Exchange users is still NOT getting through.

Update - it worked! It took some time, probably because I have years of messages and appointments that had to be synchronized anew, but I am not receiving email from other Exchange users, so it appears everything has been resolved.
