Entourage stores its data in a single database which you can find in
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities/<name of your
identity>. Backing up the identity folder, or the MUD folder in general, is
the recommended procedure. Be sure to quit Entourage prior to creating the
backup, as the backup may become corrupted if Entourage keeps making changes
to the database while it is being backed up.
Alternatively, you can use File>Export to save your contacts in a plain text
file, or create an archive of your data that can be re-imported again very
easily.
Is there a way to back up my Entourage contacts to CD? What is the
contacts file called?
