Entourage aggravation - column layout

Entourage has a jillion columns in the list view. I like just four. For every folder I have, setting each one up is painful. Not only can I not set a default to say, "All folders should use these columns, and sort this way", but to remove a column, you have to summon a menu for every single column: no "checkboxes in a sub-window, click click click and done", it's "aim your mouse to the column titlebar, right-click for menu, pick the item, aim your mouse again on the column bar, right-click, etc" Driving me crazy.

I've probably spent an hour or two of my life so far, doing nothing but laying out the columns the way I want. Really, really hate that.

For what it's worth, each folder inherits its parent's column settings. But
yes, there's no way to then make mass changes. Suggest this to Microsoft.

1.) Yes, I strongly suggest this to Micro$oft: We users need a function to copy the column settings of one mail folder to another mail folder! (E.g. via context click.)

2.) In Entourage 12.0.0 we cannot drag all columns to the positions we prefer: The columns FLAG, LINK, STATUS, ATTACHMENT and PRIORITY, for example, are at fixed positions! Why is that so? That's evil! Micro$oft must (!) patch this instantly. Every column must be draggable freely.

Thanks.
