Entourage always askes for the saved password

I work with MacOS Leopard on a MacBookPro and Microsoft Office 2004.
My problem is that Entourage always askes for my password for all my
accounts even after a short sleeping period of the computer and
allthough I always click on "save password". This was already so when
I worked with MacOS Tiger. What can I do that my system saves the
password for the rest of time and doesn´t ask me again?

Strictly speaking, Entourage does not store your password, it's the Keychain
Access utility which can be found in Applications/Utilities. Launch Keychain
Access, then click on Keychain Access>Keychain First Aid. Repair your
keychain and see if that solves the problem; if it doesn't, identify the
keychain entry that Entourage uses for your account information and delete
it (with Entourage shut down). That way, you'll force Entourage to create a
new entry, which might solve the problem.

Oh, and I forgot to ask: in Tools>Accounts, is the checkbox ("Save password
in my Mac OS keychain") ticked for your account?
