Entourage and Attachments

I am new to Mac. I am able to receive emails and open attachments in
Apple Mail. I then bought Office 2008. I can receive emails in
Entourage, but am having problems opening some attachments. I have no
problem opening these same attachments in Apple Mail.

Any suggestions?

What type(s) of attachments?

In my case, Entourage 2008 will not show jpgs on the message (despite choosing that in Preferences) if they are over 400kb.

I just tested and can verify this is the case. Whether this is by design I
don't know. Most people try to send reduced copies of jpgs. Over 400kb is
awfully large. In my testing I had to add several photos to the full desktop
screen shot to make it go over 400KB.
