Has anyoen ever done this, and what is the possibility of something
not working when it is done? I have a user and the db file is at
2.1G's, and I know outlook at Entourage start to get messed up around
the 2 Gig limit.
First, you don't mention which version of Entourage they are using.
Entourage X has a 4 GB limit. If all updates have been applied the user will
get a warning when they approach the limit.
Entourage 2004 has no limit, just a limit to the number of items in the
Entourage database: 2 million database items.

If the user is experiencing no problems, they should leave well enough
alone. The rebuild/compress option can go bad and the user could loose data.
If they are concerned about size, then look at the tips here to reduce the
size of your database.
