Entourage and Exchange 2007

M

Marc M. Janssen

Hi,
I'm trying to set up an exchange 2007 account within entourage 2004
(v11.3.6). I checked all settings and everything seems OK. The account is
connected with the exchange server.

BUT: I only see the folder Junk E-mail. The folders inbox, calender,
contacts etc don't appear. Does anybody knows what's wrong??

Greetz,
Marc

Hi Marc!

Those other folders come from your Exchange Server. If you're not seeing
them then you're most likely not connecting.

Can you verify whether or not your Exchange Server has the legacy
applications software installed

The legacy applications are installed. Any other suggestions?

Are you connecting to a front-end (OWA address) or back-end (Exchange
Server address) system?

Does your Exchange Server reside on the same company network as
Entourage or are you using a hosted Exchange Service? If you're
Entourage and Exchange Server are both on the same network then I
recommend connecting to a back-end server address.

I'm not sure this is related to your problem but you might also have a
look at this KB article on Microsoft's website
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924625>. This blog post details a
specific way of entering your E-mail server's information that may be of
use

Hope this helps!
