Entourage and Exchange Server 5.5

I know that the Exchange Server update for Entourage "officially" supports
Exchange Server 2000, but I am still running Exchange Server 5.5.

I have downloaded and installed all the Office updates and configured
Entourage for my Exchange Server 5.5, and it seems to work for basic mail
connectivity. It does not, however, support public folders as anything
other than regular IMAP folders, nor will it access the LDAP address book
from the server.

Has anyone been successful in configuring Entourage to fully work with an
Exchange 5.5 Server?
