Entourage and Exchange

My exchnage contacts show up in Entourage for Mac as mail messages. Is
this entourage or exchange. Any help at all would be appreciated.

I suspect the free/busy server is not setup properly.
The server should be the same as the OWA server eg:
instead of http://my.webmail.com/exchange/<me>
use my.webmail.server/public

Make sure OWA is enabled on the Exchange Server.

DaveF suggested the following:
Tip: On the exchange server IIS interface. Make sure in properties of the
default web site, on the Web Site tab, "HTTP keep-alives enabled" is checked.
Once this is done, all Entourage clients free/busy info is updated and can
schedule appointments seeing user data on exchange.

If possibility #1 is the case, in that the server you connected to supports
mail retrieval but there is a separate server for other Exchange functions,
follow the instructions in Note #15.
