Entourage and Internet Explorer

I am a new Mac user. I have always used Office Suite and Outlook with
my Windows based pc so I bought Office for my new Mac. Setup went
without incident but....since I have chosen to use Entourage as my
primary e-mail program and Explorer as my primary browser I cannot
understand why when I click the mail icon in Explorer it opens up Mac
Mail. Is there a way to set Entouage as default? I have looked
through all the tools and preference menus and can't find any mention
of this.

Also, a more difficult question. Has anyone attempted to export a
Winfax Pro phonebook to Entourage. I exported to an ASCII text
delimited file but when I tried to import it into Entourage the
information came in with two separate entries on the same line so I
could not transfer.

Any help anyone can provide would be gratefully accepted. Thanks

Launch the Mac application called "Mail".

Select Preferences from the Mail menu.

Select General from the icon list at the top.

Select your preferred email application from the menu marked Default Email
Reader.

Quit out of Mail and see if that solves your problem.
