Entourage (and Outlook programmes) overriding mac computer's dialup settings

Paul

I wonder if there is any way to prevent Entourage forcing my computer
dialling up an internet connection. It does so even when my Mac's internet
settings are for manual (user chosen) connection. No other programme I have
used does this.

I would not consider advice such as "refrain from clicking hotmail or
newsgroups folders" helpful.

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - **2004**, X
or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.

Open Tools:Schedules, open every schedule an make sure "only when connected"
is checked for every one.
