Entourage and Outlook Web Access

We have 1 Mac user in our organization, and he is hoping that
Entourage will provide him more functionality that simply accessing
his office e-mail remotely using Outlook Web Access. Is this possible,
or does Entourage only work with traditional client-based access to
Exchange?

I use Entourage in an exchange environment. It allows me to search (only
search) the global address list when I hit "control shift C" after typing in
a name of a person in the organisation, it allows me to use the calendar in
exchange (but not meeting scheduling, etc), and email.

There are a few problems - like the crashing, etc. that some people are
having on here. It works well for me 90% of the time, and other times its a
real pain!

You can have Entourage sync with the Excahnge server. OWA is required
because that's the protocol Entourage uses to sync calendar and address
book. The e-mails are actually synched through IMAP from the Excahnge
server.
Does this answer your question ??

Yep, GAL searches are performed through LDAP and it doesn't allow you to
browse through all the entries :-\
