Entourage and Public Folder Privileges

I am having trouble with macs accessing public folders. It seems that
how the server responds to folder privileges has changed. We are at a
school, and last year it seemed like when the macs accessed they
followed the privileges on the server, but this year it seems that the
mac privileges are based on the "Default" user's privileges. Does
anyone have any experience with this? Any way to force entourage/
exchange to display folders based on group/individual privileges
rather than just default?

Thanks for any insights.

I suspect that Entourage has no control over that. It's set by whoever
administrates the Public folder and Entoruage simply does as it is told,
