Entourage and SSL

Hi,

Every time I try to connect via SSL to my mail server I get a warning about
being unable to establish a secure connection or something similar. I have
imported my SSL certificate with Internet explorer. When I look through the
mail logs on my server it doesn't really look like a secure connection is
being established. Are they problems with SSL self signed certs with
Entourage?

I'm running the latest version Entourage. My mail server is running MacOS
10.3.2 and the latest developer snapshot of UW-IMAP. As stated above, I use
a self signed SSL certificate.

It's an Entourage bug -- see http://www.ogre.com/tiki-read_article.php?
articleId=4 for example.

THis could be construed as SMTP/SASL/TLS nonconformance, which would
make Entourage technically not a mail client.

When should we expect a bug fix for this? And don't tell me "Office 2004"
-- that's just more M$ extortion.
