Hello, when I am opening several e-mails with a word attachment (maybe even exel I haven't tried)the following happens : the first word document appears on the screen and stays there (as Word has launched itself for the first time) then, when I open another word attachment it appears on the screen for a second and then disappears ...it is driving me crazy ! to retrieve the document I have to click on the word icon and then I have access again..I don't know if I am clear, but when I can't seem to look at an attachment when I click on it - it immediatly goes away and I have to go back into word or spaces to see it... any ideas ?
Many thanks

Your message indicates that you are using Spaces. There is a well-known
problem with Office 2008 (above all Word) and Spaces, which may explain the
abnormal behaviour you experience. For more information, search this
newsgroup, and you'll find quite a few threads discussing the same issue.
There is not much you can do other than disable Spaces in the System
Preferences.

Your are great !! I actually don't have to disable Spaces, just taking word out of an allocated "space" in spaces is enough - thank-you ever so much
