Entourage as Default Email Program

I know Entourage is the default email program for some applications but,
strangely enough, when I click an email hyperlink in Excel2004, it opens the
Mac iMail program. What's up with that? Thanks in advance for suggestions
to make Entourage the default email program for all links.

You should try to get RCDefaultApp (free)
http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/

Install it and check that Entourage is indeed properly specoified at the
system level. Launch Service and Internet Config might have problems
communicating there :-\
Hopefully, this app will fix the problem,
