Entourage, attachments

I just loaded Office 2008 on a new iMac and set up Entourage. I am receiving emails but I am unable to open attachments (word, pdf, etc.) I receive a message that that says "Can't open file. It may be corrupt or a file that (preview, word) doesn't recognize." I had this problem last time I switched computers and I fixed it but I cannot remember what I did.

two ways to solve this problem:
1. There should be a yellow message bar below the email header telling you that "This message has been partially downloaded. <Get entire message>"
Click on <Get entire message> and you should be able to view the files

2. It turns out that Entourage defaults to 20KB as the threshold for downloading message partially. One can change this by going to the menu bar "Tools, Accounts..., <double click on the account>, then "Options" tab.
