Entourage attachments

I was recently digging through my Finder and discovered that in the
Library/Caches/Metadata/Microsoft/Entourage/2008/Main Identity/Attachments
folder there were a series of numbered folders each of which contained
various documents

This is the Spotlight cache files used to find info in Entourage. If you
don't want attachments cached, then uncheck that option in Entourage
preferences --> Spotlight.
