Entourage Automatically Deletes .mac Messages

Whenever I receive a new .mac message to my account (configured as
IMAP through Entourage), the message is placed in my deleted items
folder. How can I correct this?

You must have a rule that is moving the message. The most likely culprit is
the Mailing List Manager (MLM). It's very easy to set up a MLM rule by
accident, when you are marking a message as 'not junk'. The wording of that
dialog is ambiguous to say the least. Check if there is an MLM entry (look
for MLM entries under the tools menu) with the local Inbox as the target
folder. You can select to use the Mailing List Manager (MLM) rule or your
custom rule. Mailing List Manager rules run before your other rules.

Thanks - I checked the MLM and unselected the MLMs that were created.
However, I am still having the problem that messages I view originally
through Entourage then are not available on .mac from another
computer. Plus, messages I move into folders are not available. How
can I sync the .mac account and the Entourage account?

It could be your setting on the .mac account.

You can set the account as POP or IMAP. IMAP works by keeping mail on the
server. POP works by downloading your mail to your computer. You can select
to "Leave Mail on Server" with a POP account, but if you are using two
computers it would be much easier to use IMAP because all mail will be in
the same place.
