Hi All,
What is the default behaviour of Entourage when it comes to completed to-dos?
Specifically, does it auto-delete? If so, after what time?
If not, can I apply a rule to perform this task (one that doesn't delete the email the to-do is attached to)?
Thanks in advance.

no, it doesn't autodelete.

If (in Entourage 2008) you list all ToDosÝ, you can sort by completion
date and delete all complete items older than a certain date.

It would be possible to write a script to do this and set the srcipt to
run on a daily/weekly schedule. write back if you want hewlp with this.

Ýit's a default 'quick address bar option, otherwise, choose the tasks
pane, then select 'todos' in the left hand panel

Hi Barry,
Thanks for confirming the behaviour.

I'd love to know how to write a script (in Automator, I assume?) and have it run weekly.

Automator novice, I'm afraid, so please supply as much detail as possible.
Cheers, Chris
