Entourage Calendar data issues when syncing to exchange

I have a number of users at work that are using Entourage 11.2.3 to
11.2.1 and are complaining of calendar events moving by as much as days
and weeks ahead and behind. In more than a dozen instances events just
get deleted. This has been confirmed by logging in with Outlook 2003 on
a PC which so far has not showed similar issues. We are a mixed
enviornment of mac's and pc's and running exchange 2003 (? can't
remember). I'm trying to get support from colleagues and Microsoft but
it would seem there are no answers to this problem.

Hi Garrett - I do not have an answer for your question but I would be
interested in a dialogue on the integration of Entourage with an
Exchange Server. We, too, have a mixed enviornment but have yet to use
Exchange. Mactopia has some thoughts on the advantages of the SP 2 of
Office 2004 :

I like the idea of sharing Projects (we have just begun to look at
using them)...right now we are doing a test based on using my iDisk.
Have you used Projects on both PCs and Mac's? Have you been able to
share them via Exchange?

One "extreme" that some have suggested is that we upgrade to Macbook
Pros and use Boot Camp or Parrallels
(http://www.parallels.com/en/products/workstation/) to integrate with
Exchange...this seems to defeat the value of Mac's, don't you think?

I would use anything else other than Entourage. It's a flaming pile of
rat dung in my opinion and thats being kind. I'm sorry I really want to
be mature about this and say "well I don't like how this does this...
and this works a little weird" But to quote my niece it's "big piece
of dookie" and honestly would be embarrassed to release a product to
any customer.... oh wait I did and have regretted it since.

It just will not handle a person with thousands of messages and almost
as my calendar events reliably. Unfortunately being where I work I have
about 1300 of those people so the product fails on a daily basis. :)
your miles may vary.
