Entourage Calendar never stops sync'ing with Exchange servere

I'm running Entourage 2004 with Exchange Server 2000 and after
connecting to the server Calendar syncs forever. I've let it run for 2
days and it show no signs of stopping, everything else has finished
synchronizing and even the calendar looks complete.

Any ideas how to stop it or what it's really doing?
