Entourage Calendar Time Preference

It's fixed! My time formats in my calendars are all in AM/PM format
now! After trying the suggestions made by members in the group (thank
you, Mickey and Henry), I had a stroke of brilliance :) and changed
the country to the US, (I live in Canada) and rebooted, etc., as Mickey
and Henry suggested. I am now happy. I wish I could keep Canadian
format as to date, etc. but at least I have the time format I want.

But the (English) Canada format that appears near the top of the
International list _does_ use AM/PM for time, as well as the d/m/yy short
date format (otherwise everything is like US). Only French/Canada formats
use 14-hr time, as well as long dates in French, of course.

If you are using Canada format (i.e. English Canadian) time should be in
AM/PM format. Are you in Tiger (OS 10.4.x)? If so, make sure you use
Software Update to update to 10.4.7. I seem to recall that some early
versions of 10.4 (maybe 10.4.0 and 10.4.1) had some date-time errors.

If you are in Panther, make sure you are in 10.3.9. I don't recall if there
were any errors there and can't check, but I don't believe so.

Thanks, Paul. I am running 10.4.7. Yes, I know the English format for
Canada does have an AM/PM option. My settings were set to that option
and have been all along. The only thing I can think of is that there
might be some sort of conflict between the OS and Entourage and
HourWorld because those 2 clocks were running on the 24 hour format
(while nothing else on the computer was) and both are now using the
AM/PM format but with my computer living in the States. :) I emailed
Paul (HourWorld designer) about the problem. He didn't think the
problem had anything to do with Entourage but it was probably a system
problem. When he suggested I "choose Canada or the US" on the
"International" page, it sparked an idea to try the US. And, voilà. It
changed--both clocks are now AM/PM format. Interestingly, now "Keyboard
Viewer" shows the different languages I write in whereas before it
would only show the US keyboard. Go figure. :) I hope I've made sense
here. Should I send Apple an email about this?
