If you properly get the e-mails, then there might be something wrong in
the advanced settings for the Exchange account. What setting do you have
there ???

That's what you should have.

That's clearly (to me anyway) indicating issues with the Exchange server
itself. In order to be able to use Exchange in Entourage, you need
proper Webmail to be enabled on the server. Actually, you can give the
webmail server address as the Exchange server setting in Entourage (eg:
http://mywebmail.server.com/exchange). If the server is not up to date,
you often end-up with the same problems you are describing here (that
was the case for me until they finally installed the latest MS patches
for Exchange). You should try contacting them to ask them whether the
server is indeed up to date...

VPN could do the trick. THey should have been able to help you on this
though since they most probably (should anyway) know what their server
requires...

Would you know of a source where there are screen shots of entourage
exchange account setup, where each field would have notes as to how to
copy
information from outlook (since they do not share the same fields.)

I am still trying to get the connected to our hosted exchange! With an
exchange account!! Day 15

You'll find plenty of information about Exchange setup on
http://entoruage.mvps.org/ That's a good place to start,
Outlook has some common information, but not everything... For instane
thay have some name resolution for the server and the app doesn't
display the complete name. Outlook doesn't have to use LDAP either.
Additionally, the server it connects to doesn't have to be the same as
the one you need since you need WebDAV and they use MAPI (which could be
on a different server).

The "easiest" way to set things up is really to enter the address of the
WebMail server (with the http and everything... simply copy it from the
URL bar in your browser).
With the servers that I connected to from here, when I could conenct
through WebMail, I could use the same address for Exchange in Entourage.

exchange account!! Day 15

:-(
Is there something "weird" in the URL you go through for WebMail ?/ Does
it look like http://my.server.com/exchange ??

https ?? This means that you have to make sure you selected that you
wanted the server to connect using SSL... (in the advanced settings for
the Exchange account).

That shouldn't be the case. There is something funky in the IMAP
settings for this account.

You probably set that up in the IMAP account that was created to access
Exchange for you. You have to make sure you enable that for the Exchange
account.

I completley deleted the exchange account i only have IMAP now.. I am
no sure what you mean by enabling it for exchange...

Well in ths case you might consider trying to setup the Exchange account
again,
For IMAP, the settings could be drastically different. You need to
specify the IMAP server (could be different) and this server might - or
might not - require authentication by SSL...
