Entourage cannot access your data

When I click on Entourage I get:
"Entourage cannot access your data. To attempt to fix the problem, rebuild
your database"
Click OK
"To rebuild the database, quit all other Microsoft Office programms and try
again"
Click OK
Entourage quits.

Does anybody know a fix for this or understand the instructions given on
line in the Microsoft Entourage errors list?

You need to close the Microsoft Database Daemon. You can find a list of
ways to close it on this page:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/daemon.html>

After doing so, launch Entourage with the Option key depressed. You should
be allowed to rebuild the database.
