Entourage categories and Palm sync

I've done some reading about Sync Services. From what I've read I've come
to a conclusion - possibly the wrong one. Every program that takes
advantage of Sync Services sends data to a central database. If another
Sync Service program has a corresponding "field", the data will show up in
that program.

So Entourage is sending "categories" to Sync Services, but reason that
categories aren't being transferred to the Palm is because neither iSync nor
Mark/Space Events knows what they are. I assume that if these conduits are
modified to recognize Entourage's conduits, then they will be able to pass
the data to the handheld.

My feeling that if the only step that needs to be taken is an update of
Mark/Space Events, then it may happen. If a modification of Sync Services
is needed as well, then I figure that it probably won't happen

Ture, very true!

Hum... I don't even thing Entourage bothers to send the categories to
the SyncService database (actually I don't even know whether the
database supports categories).

That would be nice... As I mentioned, I don't think the categories are
savec in SyncServices. Maybe Andy will clarify this ??

Yeah, I'm wrong. Categories aren't saved. I guess that no solution will
come. Not a big deal, but for the time being I'm better off using the
conduit when I sync.
