Hello, I would like to enquire about whether anyone else has
experienced a bizarre problem that my wife is having with Entourage.
Intermittently while using Entourage, the Mac will just suddenly go to
sleep (black screen, little pulsating white light). It can then be
woken up in the usual way (pressing a key). Entourage seems to be
working fine when the Mac awakes. It only happens soon after she logs
in to her account on the computer. It doesn't happen if she has been
logged in for hours. It only happens while using Entourage - usually
when clicking on the Hotmail Inbox folder.
I don't use Entourage so it doesn't happen to me. I've witnessed it
happening to her on a couple of occassions, but it certainly doesn't
happen predictably each time.
We're using a 12' Powerbook G4 with OS X 10.3.2 and Office X,
Entourage 10.1.4. Using fast user switching to maintain separate user
accounts on the computer.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received. Please reply to the
newsgroup as I don't receive email from this address any more.
Thanks,
Dave.
