entourage changes name in From: line in message list

I have noticed that if you have someone's email in your address book
and they send you an email, the "From:" line in the Message List and
Preview Pane will be the name you have in your address book, not what
the user has as his/her "common name" part of the email address. I
don't like this feature. Is there any way to turn it off? Thanks for
any assistance.

Hi Conrad!

That's a new feature introduced in SP1 for Entourage 2008. No, you can
not override it.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature
changed in future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism
in any Office application.

Hope this helps!

Yes, but of course not in the way I was hoping. (I think it's telling
that an MS MVP's first thought was "bug.") I have submitted my
feedback as you suggested. I won't be holding my breath.

And I see now that that was your blog post. Gotta pay closer
attention there...

Don't despair. Send in your feedback! They do listen eventually. :)

Send feedback to Microsoft.

When working in Office, you can use the ³Send Feedback² option under the
